Treat yourself to a memorable day outdoors listening to your favorite music while helping to feed needy people and preserving the beautiful Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate 2960 Peralta Oaks Court in Oakland. BRING 10 CANS OF FOOD OR MORE AND YOU GET IN FOR FREE! OR PAY $10. Please bring good food, like you would want to eat yourself. Help feed those in need! Cans of food will be donated to local non-profit organizations. If you want our world to be a better place, it all starts with you doing something to help make this a better world. Music from 10:30am to 6:30pm. Vendor's and good food to check out too. All Ages welcome, minors must be accompanied by an adult. NO GLASS containers will be allowed. NO ALCOHOL will be allowed to be brought in, it will be sold at the event. PARKING will be available at the FOOTHILL SHOPPING CENTER. THANK YOU FOOTHILL SHOPPING CENTER! There will be Security guards there to insure your safe parking, and Volunteers will be there with containers for cans of food to be donated. ALSO special guests *MEDICINE MAN* Hey people, get groovy! Get into the spirit of the Sixties and wear your favorite Hippie clothes to this event! Back then people cared more about each other. Show you still care about people and attend this special event, tell your friends too!

There will be lots of food collection containers so let's all try to fill them up! Think what it would be like if YOU were hungry and had no where else to turn to. More people need food and less people are donating. This is all about feeding people right here in Alameda County. The Elderly, The Handicapped, The Disabled, The Poor, Young & Old, all need your help, so please do something that will make you feel warm inside, and donate lots of cans of food! These cans of food will go to local non-profit organizations. And a portion of this event goes to help preserve the beautiful Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate at 2960 Peralta Oaks Court in Oakland. We could use some Volunteers to help out with the event. You can work a 5hr shift 9:30am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-7:30pm or whatever hours you can. Volunteers will get food & drinks and an event t-shirt besides the good feelings they will get from being part of this special event.
